Chairperson – Becky Walker

Kia Ora, I have been on the board for about 1.5 years as a parent representative, and newly stepping into the role of Chairperson. I have two gorgeous children, my daughter attended Westport Kindergarten for 2 years before heading to school, and my son who is currently still here.

I have worked the previous 15 years for Accounting firms both in Westport and Christchurch. Currently I am delving into a new venture managing our family farm with my partner.

I am looking forward to serving as Chairperson for the board over the 2017 year with the added value of some new members this year. We are fortunate to have a board that is invested in constantly improving early childhood education and having a safe and fun environment for our children to learn and grow in.
